With the temperature climbing and birds chirping, Charlotte Nature Museum is launching another season of Summer Camps that are chock full of fun in the sun! Programs are offered for various age groups ranging from pre-school to sixth grade, and provide campers opportunities to build friendships, create adventures in nature, and explore their outdoor world with our team of naturalists. From making mud pies to trolling for tadpoles, the Museum offers an assortment of activities designed will to create lasting memories.

Charlotte voted and we listened... Snappy is the name of Charlotte Nature Museum's newest resident, an American alligator [Alligator mississippiensis]. Snappy refers to the fact that the species has one of the most powerful jaws in the animal kingdom. Estimated to be approximately two-and-a-half years of age, this prehistoric toddler is now on exhibit in Beginnings.
