Charlotte voted and we listened… Snappy is the name of Charlotte Nature Museum’s newest resident, an American alligator [Alligator mississippiensis]. Snappy refers to the fact that the species has one of the most powerful jaws in the animal kingdom. Estimated to be approximately two-and-a-half years of age, this prehistoric toddler is now on exhibit in Beginnings.
