With the temperature climbing and birds chirping, Charlotte Nature Museum is launching another season of Summer Camps that are chock full of fun in the sun! Programs are offered for various age groups ranging from pre-school to sixth grade, and provide campers opportunities to build friendships, create adventures in nature, and explore their outdoor world with our team of naturalists. From making mud pies to trolling for tadpoles, the Museum offers an assortment of activities designed will to create lasting memories.
Summer Camps are very special to the team at Charlotte Nature Museum because we have the chance to share knowledge on the natural environment with our young friends. Whether educating about natural habitats, teaching a child to catch a fish or tracking wildlife. Museum instructors seek to instill a passion for nature that will last a lifetime. . Our curators also join in on the fun, sharing behind the scene secrets of nurturing the animals that call Charlotte Nature Museum home. Every camper has the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with helping to care for one of our many ambassador species.
If you have not signed up your junior naturalist, what are you waiting for? There are still a few spaces left for an unforgettable Summer Camp experience. Join us at the Museum for a week or two and enjoy an unforgettable journey learning about our natural environment.
