Grade 1
Through the exploration of living things, kids will understand the difference and similarities between humans and other living things. During the class they will learn to distinguish between what is living and what is non-living.
Students also will have the opportunity to observe and investigate how plants and animals are affected by their environment through live animal and habitat exploration.

Students learn how baby animals survive and thrive with their parents help and on their own.
Students learn how animals weather the winter weather. *Class available Oct. — Dec. 2010
Kids discover strategies and behaviors that humans and animals employ to protect themselves from inclement weather
