Corporate Underwriting

Partner with Discovery Place by underwriting a ScienceReach program at a school of your choice. Your financial support will help to improve educational opportunities for students of all abilities and backgrounds.

With your help, we can:

Bring students together by encouraging life-long learning, ingenuity and imagination, and provide a stepping stone to greater achievement
Provide high-quality, hands-on, inquiry-based educational experiences that complement in-school learning.
Develop outreach activities and programs that are aligned with North Carolina Standards of Study for Science, Mathematics, Social Studies and Language Arts.

ScienceReach programs include:

Classroom Programs: Hands-on, inquiry based programs that are 50 minutes in length and provide science education for up to 30 children.

Assembly Programs: Action-packed, interactive science education programs that run approximately 55 minutes. Appropriate for all ages and can impact up to 300 students.

Workshop Programs: Multi-session programs focusing on a single science topic for 6 consecutive weeks.

Science Clubs: Sustained, high-impact experiences for up to 30 underserved youth. Each Science Club is 90 minutes in length and is conducted weekly for 12 weeks.
