Corporate Underwriting
Your corporation can help bring the world of science to life for students who attend economically disadvantaged elementary schools by supporting Discovery Place, Inc.'s Fieldtrip Scholarship Fund or its outreach program, ScienceReach.
Discovery Place, Inc.'s Fieldtrip Scholarship Fund supports the costs of Museum admission for students and chaperones to Discovery Place, Charlotte Nature Museum or Discovery Place KIDS-Huntersville, participation in a hands-on, inquiry based science class at the Museum and transportation to and from the Museum.
Discovery Place, Inc.'s ScienceReach program is an outreach program that brings hands-on, inquiry-based science education to schools and neighborhoods throughout North and South Carolina. Last year, ScienceReach served more than 56,000 students and a majority of its programming was provided to economically disadvantaged students.
For your support of the Fieldtrip Scholarship Fund or Outreach Education Fund, your corporation will receive the following benefits:
